Brookgreen Gardens (Near Murrells Inlet)
Brookgreen is the country’s first and largest sculpture garden where some 550 works of American figurative sculpture are displayed throughout the Archer and Anna Hyatt Huntington Sculpture Garden, one of the most beautiful public gardens in the Southeast. The history and setting of Brookgreen alone would make a visit a must for those who appreciate history and the outdoors. Brookgreen is part of a 9,000 + acre preserve set among the ruins of several former rice and indigo plantations.
